Alright. Here is an interesting case. Germany has outlawed homeschooling, and they have literally been willing to fine people, take away custody of their children, etc. What is going on here?

A lot…even some of the countries from the former Eastern Bloc are liberalizing education laws to allow homeschooling, including Slovakia coming 2008.
But Germany is getting stricter. With their main attack against what they refer to as religious fundamentalism. “Socialization” is at the heart of it as they fear that people of a different viewpoint will tear apart German society.
This case specifically involves Christian families, but it effects all homeschoolers.

Dana,
It sounds like we really need to pray for Germany!
