I saw that the other day, too. That is just too scary. Why on earth would you need SWAT to come and take a little boy to the hospital? Good grief!
I think the police way over-reacted on this one. This highlights problems with the mentality that the government has the right to decide what is best for a child’s medical needs over the rights of the parents.
On the other hand, there are lots of crazy’s out there. It could be that the cops were just afraid and made a bad judgment call.
Sad stuff.
