Mike Huckabee Calls for John McCain’s Election

September 4th, 2008 · 6 Comments · Election 2008, Elections, John McCain, Mike Huckabee, News, Politics, and World Events, Republicans, Video

I was very encouraged and motivated by Huckabee’s speech at the RNC. :-) Yet another reason to consider voting for John McCain in November. He was not my first choice, and I don’t agree with him on everything.  But there is also great potential for good and we can not have Barack Obama as our President!

After watching the Republicans nominee acceptance last night, I’m even more encouraged and almost certain that Sen McCain will go to the White House comes November. Mr. McCain did so well in chosing Sara Palin. She is not afraid of saying what she means. Staying home on elections day is not an option this time so you guys need to chose the “least of 2 evils”..God Bless!

I cannot believe people have turned into quitters. What happened to the United States? Where are the Christians that would not compromise? We will enter WW III under McCain. But everyone is okay with that. Voting McCain is just wrong. The man is unpredictable. Where are the people like Patrick Henry and John Adams? When did the Saints turn their back on integrity?

You are letting yourselves be snowed by men who are planning to go to war with Russia. Our Republican Vice-President just went to Georgia and told them we would back them if they go after Russia. Why is it more Christian to kill Russians than the unborn?

    Howdy FriendTim (Hello Lyne G.),

I’ve got a bunch of questions for you.

    1) Who has turned into a quitter?

    2) What is the WW III scenario that you are concerned about?

    3) Why d0 you believe that McCain is planning on war with Russia?

    4) Why do you connect war with Russia (what war with Russia?) with abortion? War is different than killing the innocent. Are you a pacifist?

    :-)

I suppose I could ask for more, but there is a good start.

to the contrary…I think for a time, (some) americans have fallen asleep under the spell of Sen. Obama as he promised changes for the US. What kind of change are those - reverse discrimination? more permissive society? who knows…Not only did Sen. McCain choice of Vice-President was right but I think the other side is starting to show their true colors (who they associate with, the way they defend themselves…). As it was said earlier on this past week , Hollywood, the rappers, Oprah Winfrey, etc…are not the ones that will elect the next US president but the citizens who have enough of the bickering.

As for Patrick Henry, isn’t he the one who shouted once: …”give me liberty or give me death!” So, while I do not think Sen. McCain would deliberately invade Russia - if our basic freedoms and protections depend on that, then a man got to do what a man got to do!!

Comparing killing russians to abortion - humm! How many people were killed by former russian dictators because they defied or did not agree with the regime or wanted a better life, as opposed to millions of unborn killed every year in the world just because they are too much of an inconvenience to a life style or too expensive to take care off or just not ready for it yet? War is war and innevitably there will be innocent civilians caught in the crossfire but often times, those people will be casualties of their own people who try to cover up and make themselves look better than the rest of the world. So, no one needs the help of the coalition forces to do the dirty works because it’s already thought of.

So, chosing the “least of 2 evils” for President remains the safest way to preserve what the US hasen’t already lost…

    1. The Christians who claim to live by Christian principles who are planning to vote for Jon McCain just because a evangelical Christian woman happens to be his V-p Choice. She also has 5 children who need their mother. Now she is going to leave her children in the care of her husband when it is a proven fact that stay at home dads have higher health problems than men who work.
    2. Our current president is threatening to back up Georgia if they go to war with Russia. We already have two wars going on and Mc Cain wants to stay in Irag for 50-100 years. He claims to bring change to Washington but he has backed up the current president on all his war choices.

    3. Three wars will bankrupt the United States. We will lose to Russia if we go through with our promise to support Georgia. Americans might feel different about war if we actually had it happen to us on our own land for a change.
    4. In every war innocent people die, that is one of the tragedies of war. The Bible clearly states that you are not to kill. The first horseman of the apocalypse mentioned in the Bible is War. Christians will help the starving and afflicted but they seem perfectly happy to go and pick up a gun and kill with bullets and bomb people. I am a Christian that understands that killing is wrong.
In history whenever a Christian gathering resorted to violence the beauty of that group left forever. Just study the Paulicians of Armenia, the Hussites, the Lollards or the Waldensians and you will find this to be true.

Abortion is murder. I will probably vote for either Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party This man is 100% Pro-Life and he wants us out of the UN. It is American Globalism that has put us in the situation we are in and UN lets us do this. No longer should America keep Harry Truman’s bad promise to save any country that is being oppressed. Americans in the US are being blasted with anti-Americanism by media people. We were warned of this by Ray Bradbury in 1953. Yet nothing has changed.
Americans have been taught for nearly 100 years by our public and private educators to not think for themselves. Instead they do not know the history of why America left England.
    Patrick Henry comment
One of the reasons US had a revolution was because the British would kidnap American boys and make them into soldiers against their will.
Where is the Liberty in Killing Russians? Do you honestly think that every Russian supports war. That is like saying Dietrich Bonhoffer supported Hitler because he was German. This is like saying that every Southerner supported slavery in 1850. Children and mothers die during war. If more Americans truly wanted peace they would vote for someone other than McCain or Obama.

Killing is always wrong no matter who is doing it. I don’t believe Obama is any better than McCain other than I don’t think he is crazy and I think McCain might be. Here is a McCain quote, “I would not support repeal of Roe v.Wade, which would force x number of women in America to undergo illegal and dangerous operations”
Yet he is supposed to be pro-life, he supports embryo stem cell research. Yep, I see it.

Obama will follow the running of this nation, like LBJ, JFK and Carter. He is a liar to the US just like Wilson and FDR and say vote for me if you don’t want to go to war. Then we will go to war.
Fox, Disney, GE and Ted Turner have the real power in this country. They want McCain in office because he will protect their slave wages and treatment of people all over Asia.
Soon we will be the servants of China if we continue down the path we are so far down.

whist looking at your website, i saw you ask why someone thought McCain is looking like starting a war with Russia.

i’ve herd that in a speach that he did whilst we were in Australia, he said that he would promote the G8 being expanded to include countries like Brazil, but would specifically exclude Russia and China. there were also apparently other sections in this speech that implied sanctions and… even action towards Russia.

now; whilst the G8 isn’t the be-end-and-end all, it is doing good for the worlds major economic nations to have agreements with each other and sit round a table once in a while, excluding the fastest growing and 4th biggest economy (China) would deem the whole meeting and agreements they make practically meaningless.

from my point of view i would rather have four-more-years-of-Bush than Obama as the most powerful person in the world, but… i still have concerns about short AND long term world peace whichever candidate wins (…unless Ron Paul runs as a third and wins, in which case… well i don’t know what he stands for! :-P ).

…and just for the record, most of the people i speak to here think McCain will win (not necessarily want him to, but think he will), mostly because of the Democrats not being able to unite behind Barack.

hope you’re having fun, wherever in the world you are. :-)

    God bless!!

    Andy.
