Mike Huckabee Surges Past Mitt Romney

Mike Huckabee Surges Past Mitt Romney

I was surprised to read this article just now about Mike Huckabee.

It is official, Mike Huckabee has passed Mitt Romney and is no longer considered a second tier candidate but a top tier candidate.

Now I am really, really watching.

Read the Article:

This all interests me very much because Mike Huckabee was the first candidate I noticed.

Mike Huckabee

mike-huckabee-from-timecom.jpgOk. I really have my eyes on Mike Huckabee for president.

Here are a couple of articles about him rising in the polls.

Some say he is not conservative enough on issues like taxes, although he does support the “Fair Tax.”

I am personally an advocate of small government. I love Ron Paul’s talk about getting rid of the IRS, the Federal Reserve, etc. I am not sure that yanking out of Iraq is the best choice at this point.

I do know this. We cannot have Hillary Clinton. I am really watching Mike Huckabee now!

Read this earlier stuff I posted about him:

What do you think?

Is Al Gore Wrong?

Is Al Gore Wrong?

Picture of Al Gore from API care about our environment. I do not want to trash our planet. I would like to see the beauty of the earth as well as its ability to sustain life (especially human life!) preserved for future generations.

But I get concerned that “environmentalism” has been hijacked by a socialistic or “liberal” worldview.

The flagship issue seems to be global warming and blaming that warming on human beings.

We are told that almost all scientists believe humans are causing global warming and thus we need to act!

So… Do most scientists believe global warming is caused by human beings? Check out this article and begin to decide for yourself:

Here are some quotes from the article:

ONE of the world’s foremost meteorologists has called the theory that helped Al Gore share the Nobel Peace Prize “ridiculous” and the product of “people who don’t understand how the atmosphere works”

“We’re brainwashing our children,” said Dr Gray, 78, a long-time professor at Colorado State University. “They’re going to the Gore movie [An Inconvenient Truth] and being fed all this. It’s ridiculous.”

“We’ll look back on all of this [Human caused global warming fears] in 10 or 15 years and realise how foolish it was,” Dr Gray said.

“The human impact on the atmosphere is simply too small to have a major effect on global temperatures,” Dr Gray said.

“It bothers me that my fellow scientists are not speaking out against something they know is wrong,” he said. “But they also know that they’d never get any grants if they spoke out. I don’t care about grants.”

Remember, when you hear that “one expert” predicting hurricane stuff – it might be referring to this guy! And he seems to think it is hype. What is going on here?
